A New You and Me – A Day That Touched Hearts Across the World

On Saturday, April 11th, 2026, something truly unforgettable unfolded in Telford, United Kingdom, that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
The 6th International HKL Conference, “A New You and Me,” brought together people from all walks of life for a deeply personal, reflective, and transformative day centered on Humility, Kindness & Love. It was an unforgettable celebration of connection, reminding us of the profound light we all carry within.
A personal letter from Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and a video message from Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy reflected the growing recognition of HKL’s message and mission across the world.
From the very beginning, the energy was powerful. A moving procession led by Frank Bruno and Joe Egan carrying the HKL Torch set the tone for a day rooted in unity, purpose, and shared humanity.

Later in the panel discussion, Frank Bruno, former British WBC Heavyweight Champion and founder of the Frank Bruno Foundation, opened up about his personal journey and the vital work of his foundation in providing a safe space for men and women battling mental health challenges to exercise, talk, and heal. Joe Egan, Boxing Champion, also shared a heartwarming story about his friend Mike Tyson, demonstrating how a simple act of gratitude and memory embodies the purest form of humility and kindness.
Throughout the conference, inspiring speakers shared heartfelt reflections and powerful reminders on how we can bring more Humility, Kindness & Love into our daily lives. Here are a few reflections shared by the visionary speakers who guided us throughout the day:

He said “ We are the Divine light. There is nothing else. It's right before our own eyes. All we have to do now is start walking the path to our home and recognize the beauty we are, the simplicity we are, the humility we are, the kindness we are, and the love we are.” |

These three values remind us that through profound mutual respect, we all share the common bonds of humanity.” |

Our spirits were lifted by breathtaking performances from the EAGA Gospel Choir, The Voice UK winner Molly Hocking, soulful vocalist Otty Warmann, violinist Jessica Diamond, and the talented students of the Walsall College Drama School. We also shared a wonderful meal together, courtesy of The Big Lunch and the Midland Langar Seva Society, which fed over 2,000 attendees.
